Cov Rugby Beat Loughborough

Coventry Rugby Club made it twelve out of twelve with a 48-22 victory over Loughborough Students.

Cov took the lead in the fifth minute with a Rundle try and he followed that up with a second three minutes later.

Milne ran in a try in the 20th minute before the visitors hit back with tries from Edwards, Pons and Pointon, one of which was converted.

A crowd of 1583 saw Cov 22-17 up at half-time and in the second half, Pailor ran in a 41st minute try which Jones converted.

Taylor went over for the visitors in the 46th minute but Cov came back with Jones kicking a 56th minute penalty and two minutes later, Davies ran in a try which Jones converted.

The scoring continued with Hurrell increasing Cov's lead with a 75th minute try, converted by Jones and in stoppage time, Knox scored a try, again converted by Jones to give Cov an 48-22 victory and put them second in the table.
