Cov Rugby At Home

Coventry Rugby club are at home on Saturday at the Butts Park Arena to Henley Hawks with a 3pm kick off.

For the third game in succession the team squad shows no changes from the side that had such a comprehensive win away to Cinderford last week.

Uruguayan World Cup star Gaston Mieres, who has been on trial at Coventry Rugby, has now completed the necessary paperwork and will be contracted to Coventry Rugby until the end of the season. Gaston has settled in well at Coventry and has provided a skilful and welcome addition to the Coventry side, having already scored 2 tries in his two games.

There is also better news on the injury front with full-back Cliffie Hodgson back in training, and Adam Parkins who suffered a serious looking injury at Esher, expected to start training in 2 weeks time.
