Cov Bees Beaten At Leicester

Coventry Bees were beaten 52-41 at Leicester Lions on Saturday.

There was no Kasprzak for the Bees who had Ashley Morris guesting. Morris fell in the opening heat which Jason Garrity won in a 3-3 and after Kacper Woryna won in another 3-3, Leicester took two 5-1's and two 4-2's.

Jason Garrity took the tactical ride in heat eight and won in an 8-1 to reduced Leicester's lead to seven points but the home side were back adding points with a 5-1 in heat nine.

Garrity won in a 3-3 with Leicester taking a 4-2 before two more 3-3's, the second of which was won by Chris Harris.

Leicester then took a 4-2 and although Chris Harris and Jason Garrity rode to a 5-1 in the final heat, it was a defeat at Beaumont Road.
