Commonwealth Bronze For Millar

David Millar won a Commonwealth Games Bronze Medal with a third place in the mens road race in Delhi today.

Allan Davis of Australia beat Hayden Roulston of New Zealand over the line for first place at the end of a 167km race.

Garmin's David Millar (pictured below), representing Scotland, came in third with David McCann from Northern Ireland, who was the early race leader in fifth.


Mark Cavendish came home in seventh due to the Manxman finding it hard to find riders willing to take him to the front.

In the Women's Race, Nicole Cook whose father and grand-father are from Coventry finished fifth in a a race won by Australia's Rochelle Gilmore with Lizzie Armitstead second.
