Sylvain Chavanel has won the Tour du Poitou Charentes Time Trial.
A time trial of 24.3kms from Limouzine to L'Isle Jourdain saw Jan Bakelandts setting the early time to beat of 30:42.
BMC'S Steve Cummings rode superbly to finish in 30.17 and take the lead before Sven Tuft finished in 29.48 but IAM Cycling's Sylvain Chavanel rode home in 29:04 to take the victory.
Chavanel now leads the race going into the final stage by 47 seconds from Tuft.
