Mark Cavendish won the third stage of the Tour Of Qatar.
A 143km stage from Al Wakra to Masaieed, mainly on long, straight roads saw Mark Cavendish's Omega Pharma Quick Step team doing plenty of work on the front of a peloton which included race leader Brent Bookwalter.
This ensured a bunch sprint with the main teams all trying to get their sprinters to the front as the finished line approached at speeds of 60kmph.
Cavendish was quite a way back but saw a gap open and went for the line to win in a time of 3.05.14.

Cavendish's team mate Aidis Kruopis was third, behind Barry Markis of Vacansoliel.
Brent Bookwalter retains his leader's jersey.
