Cavendish To Ride New Bike in Milan-San Remo

British cyclist Mark Cavendish will the Milan-San Remo race tomorrow in Italy on a brand new bike.

The HTC Highroad sprinter will be riding a "McLaren Venge" bike made by leading company Specialized who have been working with F1 manufacturers' McLaren.

The bike which will cost around £5k for the frame and forks when it goes on sale in the UK later this year has also been launched with the S-Works Venge which goes on sale next month.

Four other British riders will compete in the 101st Milan-San Remo race. Bradley Wiggins, Geraint Thomas and Ian Stannard will ride for Team Sky whilst Roger Hammond will ride for Team Garmin Cervelo in the 298km kilometre race.
