Coventry born Cal Crutchlow has won the Australian MotoGP.
Crutchlow had been battling for second place when Marc Marquez crashed out and the LCR Honda rode away to take the win at Phillip Island with Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) second and Team Suzuki Ecstar’s Maverick Viñales in third.
The former Stoke Park pupil wrote on Instagram: "What a day for my team and I …! Something really special !"
