Brits Out In Force In Oman

British and Irish riders are out in force for the Tour Of Oman which starts today.

World Champion Mark Cavendish, (Pictured below) who had two stage wins in the Tour Of Qatar last week,, will again be the main man for Team Sky with Jeremy Hunt and Ian Stannard.

Adam Blythe who finished tenth in the Tour Of Qatar will again be riding for BMC whilst Garmin-Barracuda bring in experienced Scottish rider David Millar (pictured below) for his first UCI World Tour outing of the new season.

Lotto have included Ireland's Mehdi Sohrabi in their team whilst RTS Racing Team include Alex Coutts, Lee Rogers and Ireland's David McCann.

They face over 850kms of racing from today until Sunday and the opening stage is 159kms long and is from Al Alam Royal Palace to Wadi Al Hoqay.
