Matt Brammeier of the Champion Systems Pro Cycling Team won the Ireland National Road Race Championship at Carlingford in County Louth.
A group of sixteen riders had led early on before Brammeier got himself into a front group of twelve and down to three on the bell lap.
It came down to a sprint and Brammeier made it four wins in a row when he won ahead of Philip Lavery of Amicale Cycliste Bisontine and Damien Shaw of Aqua Blue.
In France, FDJ's Arthur Vichot won the French National Road Race title attacking inside the final kilometres to beat Sylvain Chavanel of Omega Pharma-Quick Step and Radio Shack's Tony Gallopin.
BMC's Ivan Santaromita won the Italian National Road Race title in a time of 6.14.48 beating Michele Scarponi of Lampre-Merida and Davide Rebellin of CCC Polsat Polkowice in a sprint.
Team Net App Endura's Jan Barta won also the Czech Road Race Championships after winning the Time Trial on Friday
Omega Pharma Quick Step's Michał Kwiatkowski won the Polish National Road Race Championship.
BMC's Michael Schär won the Swiss National Road race in Sartigny, beating Martin Elmiger of IAM Cycling, Martin Kohler of BMC Racing, Reto Hollenstein of IAM Cycling and Grégory Rast of RadioShack Leopard.
RadioShack's Stijn De Volder won the Belgian National Championship.
Thor Hushovd is the Norwegian National Road Race Champion. Team Sky's Edvald Boasson Hagen finished third.
Bob Jungels won the Luxembourg National Road Race title.
