Belkin's Theo Bos has won the third stage of the Tour Of Poland.

Petr Vakoc of Omega Pharma Quick Step, who had a twenty seven second lead, led the riders out on a 174km stage from Kielce to Rzeszów.

Salvatore Puccio of Team Sky, Bjorn Thurau of Europcar, Paval Franczak of the Polish National Team and Mateusz Taciak of CCC Polsat got into a break and were soon 3.50 away which dropped to 2.45 after 74kms.

As the gap dropped by another minute, there was a crash into the peloton with over forty kilometres remaining on a sunny evening.

Thurau took the uncontested sprint with 30kms remaining as the front four led by 1.03 to a peloton which had Lampre and Orica Green Edge driving it along.

Puccio then took the days climb before the riders started on three finishing laps around Rzeszów.

The escapers were brought to heel with 11.4kms left and the sprinters started to get their trains to the front.

Thankfully, they all avoided an inflatable airbridge which had popped and dragged some signage into the road two kilometres later and at speeds of 54kmh.

With one six kilometre lap to go, Sam Bewley of Orica Green Edge broke away and led until Garmin-Sharp brought him back.

This was a drag race with Belkin leading the way with three to go before Lotto took over amidst a crash.

Giant Shimano led with 500m to go Modolo went but Theo Bos of Belkin was on the left and he surged to take victory in 3.39.27 ahead of Luka Mezgec, Matthews, Modolo and Thor Hushovd.
