Blanco's Theo Bos leads the Tour Of Langkwai after the opening two stages.

The biggest race in Malaysia started with a 162.7km stage from Kangar to Kulim and saw Meiyin Wang (Hengxiang Cycling Team), Junrong Ho (OCBC) and Shinichi Fukushima (Team Nippo – De Rosa) get ten minutes clear of the peloton.

On a very warm day, the trio took all the major points at the three intermediate sprints and the climb of the day before being caught by the peloton with eleven kilometres to go.

This set up a bunch sprint and Theo Bos went rather early than he wanted to, thinking the finish line was closer than it was but with the likes of Britain's Andy Fenn, who finished eleventh, back in the chasing group, there was no-one to stop Bos winning in a time of 4.00.17.

Stage Two on Friday was a shorter 116km stage from Serdang to Kuala Kangsar.

Anuar Manan (Synergy - Baku Cycling Project), Shahrul Mat Amin (Terengganu Cycling Team), Choon Huat Goh (OCBC Singapore), Yong Seo Joon (KSPO) and Fuyu Li (Henxiang Cycling Team) escaped away from the other 127 riders.

When they reached the final intermediate sprint with 16kms to go, only Mat Amin and  Seo Joon were left in front.

With eleven kilometres to go, they were caught and the teams were moving their sprinters up to the front.

The bunch sprint ensued and this time, Theo Boss timed it right to win in a time of 2.54.48. ahead of Andrea Guardini of the Astana Pro Team. Andy Fenn finished fifth.

Bos leads the race by ten seconds from Andrea Guardini. Andrew Fenn is 13th.
