BMC snatched the Team Time Trial at the Tour Of Qatar today.
Radio Shack Leopard Trek had set the fastest time of the early departures with a time of 16.18 on a 14km course in Al Rufaa Street, beating Astana by six seconds.
Mark Cavendish's Omega Pharma Quick Step, then set the fastest time of 16.12 before Team Sky beat that.
It looked like the British team would win but BMC went off and put in a great ride to finish in 16:06 to win the Team Time Trial and keep Brent Bookwalter in the leader's jersey.
Tomorrow's third stage is 143kms long from Al Wakra to Masaieed.
