A crowd of 4,786, saw Robert Dowd fire Sheffield ahead on 12.14 but Coventry were level when Cale Tanaka scored on 14.46, assisted by Neil Trimm and Carl Lauzon.
On 26.42, Josh Godrey fired the Blaze ahead, assisted by Brett Robinson and although, Russ Moyer equalised on 46.22, Jordan Pietrus hit the winner, assisted by Russ Cowley with twenty three seconds of the match left.
