Blaze Too Sharp For Steelers

Coventry Blaze won 6-2  against Sheffield Steelers at the Sky Dome tonight.

The Blaze trailed to a Robert Dowd powerplay goal on 18.09 but came back in the second period with Jereme Tindler levelling on 24.58, assisted by Ashley Tait and Justin DaCosta.

The Blaze took the lead through Cale Tanaka on 28.44, assisted by Kyle Bochek and further increased it with a Kyle Bochek goal on 31.02, assisted by Cale Tanaka and Ben Arnt, one from Russ Cowley on 36.08, assisted by  Cale Tanaka and Ben Arnt and a powerplay goal from Jereme Tindler on 37.39, assisted by Ashley Tait and Justin DaCosta.

It was 6-1 on 48.13 thanks to coach Steve Goertzen scoring, assisted by Jakub Sindel and although Michael Forney scored a second for the Steelers on 53.27, the Blaze recorded a handsome win..
