Coventry Blaze ice Hockey team have released Defenceman Igor Bobcek.
The Slovakian madee four appearances for the Blaze but was given a gam ban in the win over Braehead last night and the decision was made to release him.
Blaze coach Chuck Weber told the Blaze website: "We have released Igor and he will be flying home today.
"We appreciate the effort and the minutes he gave us. He was here to see if he could try and take someone else's job but we felt felt that he did not do enough."
