Blaze Lose In Cardiff

Coventry Blaze were beaten 7-2 at Cardiff Devils tonight.

A sell out crowd saw the Blaze come back on 1.12 when Jordan Pietrus scored, assisted by Fisher and Robinson after a goal on twenty one seconds from Culligan had the South Wales side briefly ahead.

Cardiff did have the lead by the end of the first period when Kurka netted on 18.25.

Brett Robinson did equalise for the Blaze, assisted by Trimm and Valabik on 26 but the Devils then took control with Burka scoring his second of the night on 30.57 and a fourth from Doucet on 32.10.

In the final period, Cardiff scored three times with goals from Morrissette on 44.10 and 56.45 and Haddad on 59.58 to send the Blaze to a 7-2 defeat.
