Blaze Lose First Pre-Season Game

Coventry Blaze were beaten in their first pre-season game by Nottingham Panthers.

The Blaze went down to a 3-2 defeat with Ned Lukacevic scoring for the Blaze on 21.14 and after Robert Farmer levelled for Panthers on 41.03, t Cale Tanaka fired the Blaze back in front on 46.47.

Nottingham were level again with a powerplay goal by Geoff Waugh on 55.02 and a minute and thirty four seconds later, Ollie Betteridge scored a short handed goal to send the Blaze to a defeat.
