Blaze Lose At Hull

Coventry Blaze were beaten 5-3 at Hull Stingrays on Saturday night.

The Blaze were a goal down on 5.53 when Galbraith scored but levelled on 9.49 thanks to debutant Trevor Frischmon scoring, assisted by Arnt and Tanaka, only for Hull to go back in front when Hervato netted on 14.10.

Fifty two seconds into the second period, Russ Cowley made it 2-2, assisted by Frischmon and DaCosta with a short handed goal but power-play goals from Mayer on 23.39 and Osman on 28.58 had the Blaze 4-2 down.

Cale Tanaka scored a third for Coventry on 43.50, assisted by Cowley and Tendler but Hull were able to score a fifth through Frederixk on the powerplay on 51.41 to see Coventry Blaze beaten 5-3.
