Blaze Hit Nottingham Panthers For Six

Coventry Blaze beat Nottingham Panthers 6-1 tonight at the Sky Dome.

The Blaze took the lead through a short-handed goal on 8.42 through Drew Fisher, assisted by Kevin Noble.

In the second period, Brenden Walker scored a second on 21.10 on the powerplay, assisted by Ashley Tait and James Jorgensen.

Walker then scored a third goal on 22.46, asissted by Jordan Pietrus who hit a fourth on 35.49, assisted by Drew Fisher.

In the third period, Brett Robinson scored on 48.07, assisted by Chris Bruton and Carl Lauzon and there was a sixth goal on 50.08 through Chris Bruton, assisted by Brett Robinson and Carl Lauzon.

On 58.49, Nottingham scored a consolation goal through Evan Mosey, assisted by Brad Moran but the Blaze had taken a big win.
