Blaze Cut Down By The Steelers

Coventry Blaze were beaten 4-3 by Sheffield Steelers on Saturday night at the Sky Dome.

Sheffield took the lead on 2.34 through Ferrera and had a second goal on the power play on 9.33 when Schultz found the net.

On 18.05, the Blaze were finally on the scoresheet when Cantin scored, assisted by Tait.

Into the second period and on 23.26, Schultz netted again for the visitors and Liam Stewart scored a second for the Blaze on 36.59, assisted by Russ Cowley on his 750th EIHL appearance.

The Blaze drew level on 45.09 when Darcy Zajac scored, assisted by Godfrey and Robinson but on the powerplay, Roy scored on 50.04 to send the Blaze to a defeat.
