Coventry Blaze hammered Belfast Giants 5-1 tonight at the Sky Dome.
The Blaze trailed to a Kevin Phillips goal after 61 seconds but levelled on 2.09 when Ben Arnt scored, assisted by Derek Lee and Ashley Tait.
Ryan O'Marra put the Blaze in the lead on 5.59 with a powerplay goal, assisted by Jereme Tendler and Steve Goertzen and it was a lead that was extended on 12.55 through Ben Arnt, assisted by Justin DaCosta and on 17.27 when Rory Rawlyk scored on the powerplay to make it 4-1 to the Blaze.
They wrapped up a good evening's work with a fifth goal on 43.34 thanks to Derek Lee on the powerplay finding the net, assisted by Justin DaCosta and Steve Goertzen.
