Coventry Blaze were beaten at Belfast Giants on Saturday night for the second successive night.
The Blaze fell behind to a Sandrock goal on 1.10 and levelled through Steve Goertzen three minutes later.
Sawada had Belfast back in front on 17.40 but on 43.54, Goertzen levelled again.
However, on 59.23, Kompson was allowed to score and send the Blaze to another defeat.
