Coventry Bees won 51-39 at Belle Vue tonight.
At Belle Vue, the Bees who were at full strength, had Hans Andersen win the opening heat and after three 3-3's, Jason Garrity and Stuart Robson rode to a 5-1 win.
Chris Harris and Andersen rode to a 5-1 in heat six, so former Bees rider Scott Nicholls took a tactical ride and finished last in a 3-3.
Jason Garrity won heat eight with a 4-2 to give the Bees a 30-18 lead.
Heat nine finished in a 3-3 before Nicholls won in a 4-2 for Belle Vue.
After the interval, Chris Harris won in a 4-2 heat eleven win beating former Bees guest Max Fricke on the line.
Jason Garrity won his fourth heat to give the Bees a 4-2 win and put them 43-29 up.
Chris Harris rode to victory in a 5-1 in heat thirteen and although Belle Vue came back with a 5-1, Hans Andersen won in a 4-2 to give the Bees a 51-39 win
