Bees Travel To Lakeside

Coventry Bees will be without Jason Garrity and Josh Bates tonight for their meeting at Lakeside Hammers.

The Bees will use rider replacement for Garrity who was injured last night and have called up former Lakeside rider Leigh Lanham to guest in place of Josh Bates who has his World Under-21 qualifier in Pocking, Germany.

Manager Gary Havelock said: “I go anywhere hoping that we’re going to come away with points, and we have riders who can get around Lakeside.

“I remember KK (Krzysztof Kasprzak) scoring 20 out of 21 last time he was there, and if he can produce that sort of performance again and the rest of the boys chip in we’re going to be there or thereabouts.

“Lakeside is probably one of the tougher away venues, but we go there full of confidence after a good win on Friday, and we’ll see what happens.”
