Coventry Bees are (weather permitting) due to face Leicester Lions in home and away meetings today.

The Bees face Leicester at Brandon at 2pm before everyone travels over to Leicester for the return meeting at the Jordan Road Surfacing Stadium at 7.30pm.

Boosted by a double hammering of Lakeside, the Bees could go fourth in the table with one win from the two meetings.

Manager Gary Havelock said to the Bees website: “It’s another big day for us, and it’s nice that again we are due to be at full strength for both meetings.

“Like I’ve been saying all season, when the boys all click together they can beat anyone on any track.

“It’s in their hands, and the sky is the limit for this team. We have to keep everybody’s feet on the ground and just carry on taking things meeting by meeting.

“We won’t be getting too carried away with ourselves, and we’ll approach Monday the same way. Leicester have riders who can go well at Coventry so we’ll respect that, go for the win and then re-group before heading to Leicester later on.”
