Coventry Bees Speedway team have agreed the dates with Leicester for the East Midlands Bowl.
The Bees will travel to Leicester's Jordan Road Surfacing Stadium for the first leg on Sunday March 15th with a 5pm start.
The return fixture will be the season-opener at Brandon and will take place on Friday March 20 (7.30pm).
Coventry promoter Mick Horton said to the Bees website: “It’s very positive for us to open with the East Midlands Bowl, and obviously we want to win overall and pick up the first trophy of the season.
“There’s a lot of history and tradition involving the two clubs, and matches don’t come much bigger.
“Leicester are putting together an exciting side for the new season, and it will be a great opportunity for supporters to see our team for 2015. We want to start with a win, and it’s a really big meeting for us to open up with.”
