Coventry Bees went down to a 50-42 defeat tonight against Swindon at Brandon.
The Bees were unchanged from the team which beat Poole and had Jason Garrity take the opening heat in a 4-2 before Swindon cancelled that with a 4-2 in the second heat.
Swindon had another 4-2 in the third and after four 3-3's they took another 4-2 heat win to lead 26-22 after eight heats.
Heats nine and ten produced two 5-1's for Swindon and so Krzysztof Kasprzak took a tactical ride and finished second in a 5-3 to the Bees who allowed Swindon to get a 5-1 before Krzysztof Kasprzak and Chris Harris rode to a 5-1.
With the meeting now over, the Bees had a 4-2 and had Krzysztof Kasprzak win in a 3-3 but it was a defeat for the Bees.
