Coventry Bees have confirmed in a press statement that that both Jason Garrity and James Sarjeant will be their reserves in the 2015 Elite League season.

The Bees, have said in a press statement that they are the only one of the eight clubs to retain the same combination as in 2014 following the selections made at Wednesday’s draft meeting.

Promoter Mick Horton said: “It really couldn’t have gone better for us. We had protection on Jason, and we’re delighted to have him back because initially he didn’t want to do the draft, he wanted to be in the main body of the team.

“Sarj is a definite bonus for us, and we couldn’t have wished for a better pick. There was a chance he could have been chosen elsewhere, but it just goes to show the strength of the draft this year with some extra riders coming in.

“It will be a lot closer in terms of abilities, but from our point of view to get Sarj is brilliant and we have that continuity there, which is important.”
