Coventry Bees Speedway Team hammered Eastbourne in the first meeting at Brandon tonight.
With Josh Auty guesting, The Bees took a 5-1 in the first heat, then Garrity and Harris won in 4-2's.
A 3-3, was followed by another Harris win in a 5-1 so former Rory Schlein took a tactic ride and won to give Eastbourne an 8-1 win to reduce the Bees lead to five points.
Eastbourne won heat seven 4-2 and then took heat eight 3-2 when both Lahti and Garrity were excluded.
That meant the Bees led by two points but they won the next three heats 5-1 which were followed up by a 4-2 and a 5-1 as the Bees won 60-32.
