Bees Beaten By Poole

Coventry Bees were beaten 48-41 by Poole Pirates tonight at Brandon.

The Bees had Cameron Heeps guesting again but were unable to stop Chris Holder and Rory Schlein from taking a 5-1 win in the first heat.

Kyle Newman beat Jason Garrity in the second heat for a 3-3 before North and Janowski rode to a 5-1 win in the third.

Poole also won the fourth heat 5-1 and had Rory Schlein win from the gate in a re-run heat five.

The Bees needed to start winning and in heat six, Danny King won with Joonas Kylmakorpi coming second in a 5-1.

Chris Harris won a re-run heat seven in a 4-2 before Kylmakorpi won a 3-3 heat after coming off his bike in the first running of the heat.

Heat nine was a 3-3 and Poole took heat ten 4-2 before North and Schlein rode to a 5-1 in heat eleven to put Poole twelve points ahead.

There was another crash in heat twelve before Chris Harris and North stayed on their bikes to take a 3-2 heat thirteen win.

King and Kylmakorpi rode to a 5-1 in the penultimate heat, leaving the Bees seven points behind, going into the final heat.

North won the final heat in a 3-3 and the Bees went down to a 48-41 defeat.
