Bees Beaten At Eastbourne

Coventry Bees were beaten 49-44 at Eastbourne on Saturday night.

The Bees had to use rider replacement for Chris Harris who was involved in the GP series and Hans Andersen and Aaron Summers take the points in a 3-3.

Eastbourne had 5-1's in the second and third heat and after two 3-3's took a 5-1 in heat six to take a twelve point lead.

Kenneth Hansen took the tactical ride and won to give the Bees a 6-3 heat win but after a re-run 3-3, Eastbourne extended their lead with a 4-2 win.

A twice re-run heat ten saw Jepsen win for a 4-2 and after three 3-3's, the Bees came back with two 4-2's to finish five points behind and take a point from the meeting.
