Sir Bradley Wiggins is to appear in an episode of the BBC radio show The Archers.
Wiggins will play himself , having an 'amusing episode with Lynda Snell' in the soap with the episode to be broadcast in conjunction with the BBC Sport Relief Day on March 21st.
Speaking to the BBC, Wiggins said:"It's not every day you get to star in the world's longest-running soap opera.
"When I was asked to record a Sport Relief special for The Archers, there was no way I could turn it down. "I grew up with it on the radio in the house."
