Alexander Kristoff of Katusha made it two out of two with victory on the second stage of the Tour Of Norway.

Alexander Kristoff was in the leader's jersey for a 199km stage from Drammen to Langesund, following his first stage victory.

However, it was Anders Skaarseth, Vegard Robinson Bugge, Ole Forfang, Pieter Jacobs and Angel Madrazo who formed the day's break and they were 4.30 ahead of the peloton led by Kristoff's Katusha team.

With 67kms left, the gap stood at 4.39 but was down to 3.55 twelve kilometres later.

Madrazo took the intermediate sprint with forty five kilometres left as the gap fell to just over three minutes.

Going into the final fifteen kilometres and the gap was at 1.15 for the five whilst behind them, Lars Peder Nordhaug of Team Sky suffered a mechanical and was trying to get back into the peloton.

The escapers were finally caught with four kilometres left and so Amets Txurruka went on the attack before being reeled back in.

It came down to a sprint and Alexander Kristoff of Katusha made it two out of two with a victory in 5.05.33 ahead of Caleb Ewan and Team Sky's Andy  Fenn.

Kristoff keeps the leaders jersey.
