Coventry Blaze coach Chuck Weber has said that it was an inconsistent weekend as the Blaze lost 4-1 at Cardiff on Sunday night after losing at home to Cardiff on Saturday at the Sky Dome.
Weber told the Blaze website: "We lost too many momentum plays and the two goals we conceded at the end of the periods cost us.
We did not create enough or sustain enough offence to deserve more. We seemed to have forgotten why we were successful against them in our building.
"We were not physical enough, we were not strong enough and we did not win enough races to pucks. If you play the right way you will have some success.
"It has been an inconsistent weekend but we have seven games between now and the new year and we need to start putting some wins together."
