A Day of Struggle For Warwicks

It was a day of struggles for Warwickshire County Cricket Club on the second day of their County Championship game with Durham at Chester-Le-Street.

Warwicks resumed on 10-0 when play got underway after a rain shower and promptly lost skipper Varun Chopra to Chris Rushworth who bowled the second ball of the day.

In Rushworth's second over, he trapped Jon Webb for a duck and Laurie Evans both lbw as Warwicks slumped to 12-3.

Ian Westwood was also out lbw to Hastings after making 19 before Hastings had a second wicket when Sam Hain who had made 57 was caught by Jennings.

Tim Ambrose made 41 and Ricky Clarke 13 before bad light stopped play with Warwicks on 167-7.
