The 2015 Giro D'Italia will start in the Liguria region of North West Italy, race organisers RCS have announced.
RCS have unveiled the opening three stages and said that the 2015 race will start on Saturday May 9th with a team time trial at Riviera dei Fiori. This will be the first Grand Tour stage to take place solely on cycle paths and will use the path from Riviera dei Fiori to the Cinque Terre.
Stage Two comes the next day with a stage from Albenga to Genoa.
The third stage in the region will be from Chiavari from La Spezia on Monday May 11th.
