Coventry band The Tones have been booked to play on the main stage of the Godiva Festival this year!
The festival is well-known throughout the country and easily regarded as the best free music festival in the Midlands, turning in an average of 85,000 people over the weekend.
After signing a deal in July 2010 the band have been extremely busy - both in and out of the public eye.
The past couple months have seen The Tones officially announce a new backing band line-up featuring some of the Midlands most talented musicians and the band have been spending plenty of time in the studio demoing songs for their debut album!
Godiva Festival this year will be only the 2nd show with the new line-up so things are fresh indeed - the fact that it is a hometown concert is the icing on the cake as the guys want to show everyone how they sound with the new formation and for support in the direction they're heading towards in the future.

The festival looks brilliant. Featuring top name acts such as Athlete, Sunshine Underground, Jon Fratelli, Lethal Bizzle, Musical Youth, The Selecter......hopefully we'll see you there down the front!
