The Mothers Day Moonlight Walk.

After a very successful walk last year we are holding this event again, but with a new date (14th March) and new routes.

Briefly, however, there are two walks available 5k and 10k and both are suitable for all the family taking in bridle paths of the local, Warwickshire woodland. Both walks start at Binley Woods Village Hall, Rugby Road, Nr Coventry and you can start anytime between 4-5pm.

Every person that registers before 1st Feb will receive a free T-Shirt after this date they are subject to availability. People can register on line at www.mariecurie.org.uk

There will be free refreshments at the start and finish. We encourage participants to ask friends and family to sponsor them.

The Great Daffodil Appeal is our flagship fundraising event. Every March thousands of our supports hit the streets of towns and cities across the country to offer members of the public a Daffodil lapel badge in exchange for a donation. In just two hours it's not unusual for a collector to raise £60, enough money to pay for three hours nursing care in the home of a terminally patient. As well as the need for collectors we have other volunteer opportunities too.
