Warwickshire County Cricket Club finished off Somerset this morning with a ten wicket County Championship victory.

Somerset took the game to the final day as Warwicks were unable to take the final wicket of the visitors.

This morning however, Neil Compton who had defied the Warwickshire bowlers making 95 was finally caught by Will Porterfield to give Rikki Clarke his fourth wicket of the game and Somerset were all out for 208.

Warwicks only needed twenty two for victory and Varun Chopra (13 not out) and Ian Westwood (6) not out plus four extras, saw that target quickly reached and Warwicks had a ten wicket victory in the bag.

Tomorrow, it is back to the T20 game when Warwicks take on Yorkshire Carnegie at Edgbaston. Play is due to start at 5.30pm and commentary can be heard on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.
