Stratford Town Hit Clevedon For Six

Stratford Town thrashed Clevedon Town 6-0 tonight in a Southern League South & Western Division game.

Stratford were ahead after eleven minutes when Recci flick on a corner and Guy Clark fired home.

The rain poured down but the game carried on and in the 31st minute, Rob Thompson-Brown finished off an Arron Moses-Garvey cross.

Three minutes later and Thompson-Brown turned provider, playing in Kevin Charley who hit the third for Stratford.

Just before the break, Arron Moses-Garvey hit a 25 yarder which deceived the keeper and went into the net to delight most of the crowd of 172.

In the second half, it was pretty quiet until Sterling was fouled and he got up in the 87th minute to score a fifth which was followed by Trey Brathwaite scoring from the edge of the area to give Stratford a 6-0 win which lifts them up to second in the table.
