It is with great sadness that Rugby Town FC has learnt of the death of our youth team manager Roy Miller.

It is understood that Roy was tragically killed working for Western Power on Friday 3rd July in Daventry.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Roy's family.

Roy had been the manager of the under 18s team at Butlin Road since 2009 and his sudden death and the terrible news has been met with great sadness from officials, players and supporters of the club alike.

Roy was a fantastic servant for the football club volunteering hundreds of hours a year to train & manage the youth team team at Butlin Road.

Roy was a former coach with Rugby Town Juniors for many years before moving up to manage the youth team.

Youth team coaches Dan Gibson, Roy Russell and Edward Machile will continue Roy's legacy in managing Valley's Under 18 side.
