Rugby Town were beaten 1-0 by a Northampton Town X1 at Butlin Road tonight.
Rugby, who had former City youngster Neill Collett in goal, were level at the break but in the second half, the match was decided when Parsons raced on to a through ball and clipped it past Collett to giv a young Cobblers side the win.
