Nuneaton Town are still in the bottom three but closed in on fourth from bottom Dover Athletic after a 3-2 win at the James Parnall Stadium.
Onome Sodje opened his Nuneaton account with a goal on his debut in the ninth minute and James Armson made it two in the 33rd minute.
Dover came back with goals from Ricky Miller and Stefan Payne but Conor Franklin headed home in the 77th minute to give Nuneaton the win.
