Nuneaton Town Ladies finished their FA WPL Northern Division fixtures with a defeat.
Nuneaton, were beaten 2-1 by Newcastle United at Westwood Heath in a game which kicked off at 2.30pm due to the visitors being stuck in traffic.
Nuneaton, now have to hope that Guiseley Vixens fail to win their final game of the season in order to avoid relegation.
