Nuneaton Offer Stadium Naming Rights Competition Again

Nuneaton Town FC have announced that businesses, organisations and individuals can enter a draw to win the stadium naming rights for the forthcoming 2016-17 football season.

The Golden Ticket competition offers you the chance to gain nationwide coverage for a fraction of the true cost, which is estimated at £30,000 plus.

Boro Communications and Commercial Manager Dave Sharpe said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for a business or organisation to receive both national and local coverage via the press and media.

“In addition, branding will appear on all club paperwork and promotional materials, our social media sites, and will also be advertised inside and outside the stadium.”

Draw tickets are priced at £250 each and included in the purchase price is a match day hospitality experience for two people for a league game at Liberty Way next season.

Last year the winning ticket was bought by local businessmen Gurdial Johal and Steve Groves who named the stadium The A1 Gas Force Arena. He said: “It was a proud moment for us when our ticket was drawn out of the hat.

“All through the football season we have heard our company name mentioned on local radio and BoroTV, and regularly see it in the press and social media.

“From a business point of view the exposure has been priceless and we have picked up new customers as a result of our involvement with the Boro. It’s amazing to see the positive things that can happen when two brands come together like this. We definitely think people should buy a ticket and enter.”

This is the fourth season that the Boro has run the Golden Ticket and the first ever winners, the Sperrin brothers from The Sperrin Brewery, agreed that the stadium naming is a brilliant opportunity for businesses to promote themselves. Warren Sperrin added: “So many people said they heard about us because we won the draw.

“Our two pubs, The Lord Nelson and The Blue Boar, gained plenty of publicity and marketing exposure throughout the football season – it was great for us and as a result we have entered each year since winning.”
