Nuneaton Deducted Three Points

The Football Conference have confirmed that Nuneaton Town are to be deducted three points for fielding an ineligible player.

The Conference have issued the following press statement:

"At a meeting of the Football Conference Board on Thursday 2 April 2015 the Directors considered a charge against Nuneaton Town FC for fielding an ineligible (unregistered) Player in its match against Welling United FC on Saturday 28 February 2015, which it won 1 - 0.

Upon the Club’s admission to the charge, Nuneaton Town FC was found guilty of a breach of Rule 6.9 and was fined £500.00 for the offence and the three points the Club gained in the match ordered to be deducted from its League Table score".

The Club has the right of Appeal against this decision. Such Appeal must be lodged with the Football Association by 17th April 2015.
The League Table will not be adjusted until any Appeal procedure has been exhausted"
