Nuneaton And Leamington Win

Nuneaton Town beat Forest Green Rovers 1-0 tonight at the James Parnall Stadium.

Former City youngster Mark Noon was in charge of the Nuneaton team after the departure of Brian Reid, which included Reece Charles-Cook who is on loan from the Sky Blues and former City youngster Adam Walker. Forest Green were without former City striker Lee Hughes who was sent off on Saturday.

In front of a crowd of 789, Nuneaton took the win when Jorrin John scored with a twenty yarder, with fifteen minutes to go.

Leamington FC beat Gloucester City 4-1 in a Conference North fixture at The New Windmill. Stefan Moore hit a hat-trick and there was a 45th minute own goal, watched by a crowd of 457.

Rugby Town were beaten 1-0 at home by Daventry Town in a Southern League Central Division fixture. Berwick scored the only goal of the game from a second half penalty.

Bedworth United beat Bedford Town 4-1. Daniel Dubidat hit a hat-trick with one for Keenan Meakin-Richards.

A crowd of 179 saw Stratford Town beat Wantage Town 4-1 at the DCS Stadium. Stratford took the lead through a Joe Halsall header but Lachacz equalised.

Chris Sterling puts Town 2-1 up in the 31st minute with Tyrone Fagan beats the offside trap and firing home for the third and late on, Joe Halsall sent a deflected shot past Farrow for a 4-1 win.
