No Disorder In Coventry

Coventry Police have confirmed that there has been no disorder in Coventry.

Riots have been going on over the weekend in London and tonight, there were disturbances and some looting in Birmingham.

Kerry Blakeman from West Midlands Police confirmed on Twitter that despite what had appeared on some social media sites, there had been no disorder in Coventry.

Coventry City supporters planning on going to Wembley on Wednesday night for the England versus Holland game are advised to keep their eye on the media.

The match is currently on but depending on the scale of the riots in London, the meeting tomorrow between the FA, Met Police and other agencies, may decide otherwise.

The Carling Cup matches between West Ham and Aldershot and Charlton and Reading have been already postponed and Police issued a statement at 11.30pm on Monday night, calling for all London based football clubs to call off their matches..
