Pete Clemons of the Wall of Fame steering group said, ”The celebration of Coventry musical talent continues, the first ceremony was a massive success and widely publicised, (even though one music website accused us of snubbing The Enemy!). We now continue with a member of the rare Coventry Number One club, and our two finest female vocalists”. All of which received a large percentage of the nominations, I look forward to seeing who the great Coventry public vote for next”.

The next ceremony takes place at The 2-Tone Village on Ball Hill in early December, and will see two of Coventry’s finest female vocalists and Coventry chart toppers, take their place alongside, Lynval Golding, Steve Eaton, Bob Brolly, Vince Holliday, Neol Davies and Panjabi MC. The public are urged to keep nominating at www.2tonecentral.co.uk. On Sunday December 18th there will be a chance to nominate at Coventry Market’s Christmas fun day and actually meet one of the inductees Hazel O’Connor.
